Originally a student of Jazz, Roman played piano since 5 years old, moving through guitar and trombone leading him be a professional bassist at the age of 16. After attending Berklee School of music, The new School guitar center in NYC and Graduating from Hofstra Conservatory, He switched his focus to Rock and Pop music. As a hired Gun, playing on over 30 albums and International and US tours for Electra records never satisfied his need for being a true part of a great project. He then lended his skills to Rock outfits like Brainchild, Foxy Brown, Emiko, Bravo Delta.
It was in NYC where Roman met Karl whilst recording the Bloodroot Album "Broken Twisted World" where they decided to further their working relationship. It wasn't long after that Roman was invited to take part in the adventure we now call "Too close for Missiles".
